House Name The Matou
Background The Matou are one of the three founding families of the holy grail war. They used their knowledge of magic circuits and crests to create the Command Seal system.
They originally come from Russian but where run out of the country long ago. Since then they have been steadily loosing their ability to perform magic. Each generation has been born with fewer and fewer magic circuits, with recent generations being born with no circuits at all. The Matou have been reduced to nothing more than a mundane household with a once proud history of magic.

Bloodline Crest WormsFamily Curse Except for the head of the house, mages can't actually be born into this house. If the Matou wish to participate in the holy grail war they have to recruit a mage from a different house, to take under their wing. Either that or hire a mage to fight for them.
